HaulLedger ("we", "us") runs haulledgerstudio.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Free DOT check: your USDOT number, name, email, optional phone number, your yes/no answers to our quick questions, and the red/yellow/green results of your summary.
• Dispatch waitlist: your email address.
• Gap report, free PDFs and deadline reminders: your email address, and for reminders your optional USDOT number and which reminders you picked.
• "Text or call me" requests: your name, phone number, best time to reach you, and a record of your call/text consent (the exact consent text and when you gave it).
• Source tag: a short label showing which page or link brought you to the form (for example "home" or a blog post).
• Technical data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address (used only for spam and rate limiting) and your browser type.

Calls and text messages

Your phone number is optional. We call or text you only if you check the separate, optional box agreeing to receive calls/texts from HaulLedgerStudio at that number. That consent is not a condition of purchase, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email us. We record whether you gave this consent (yes or no) with your request. If you don't check the box, we contact you by email only.

Live chat

Live chat on this site is provided by tawk.to. When the chat widget loads, tawk.to sets cookies, and it keeps transcripts of chats. Please do not share Social Security numbers, medical information, or drug or alcohol test information in chat.

What we never collect

We never ask for or store Social Security numbers, medical information, or drug or alcohol test results. The medical card question is yes/no only.

Public FMCSA data

When you enter a USDOT number, we look it up in public records published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (SAFER, the QCMobile API and data.transportation.gov). This data is public and may be out of date.

How we use your information

• To show your gap summary and follow up about your free DOT check, by email, or by phone or text only if you checked the separate call/text consent box.
• To tell you when dispatch services open, if you joined the waitlist.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it except with service providers that host this site and store our records (such as Cloudflare and Google), or if the law requires it.
