UCR: every year, priced by fleet size
Unified Carrier Registration is set by federal law. Carriers in interstate commerce pay an annual fee based on fleet size. According to the UCR Plan, the fee depends only on how many commercial motor vehicles you operate. It doesn't matter how many states you run in or which state is your base state. Brokers and freight forwarders that don't operate vehicles pay the lowest bracket.
Keep your BOC-3 valid
Your operating authority depends on a BOC-3 naming a process agent for each state where you operate, and only one current form can be on file. For motor carriers, the process agent files it with FMCSA. Keep a copy at your principal place of business.
Let us track the dates
The Monthly Compliance Plan ($99/mo or $990/yr) includes a deadline calendar with reminders for UCR, MCS-150 and IFTA. We prepare and submit UCR and MCS-150 updates when you authorize them, and we keep your DQ files current. Florida IFTA returns are reported quarterly to FLHSMV, and they're included on the annual plan or $49 each on monthly.
If you're still in your first 18 months, our setup packages also prepare you for the FMCSA new-entrant safety audit.
